Kenya’s appealing world of attractions ranges from stunning landscapes, cultural diversity, adventure sports, and beautiful Beaches to unique Wildlife. It is fascinating from the sheer diversity of its many game Parks. Situated in the trendy Upper Hill district of Nairobi, the Crowne Plaza Nairobi is a model of modern elegance infused with design and indulgence of the wild in the nearby Nairobi National Park. The simple and earthy textures, and dark wood throughout the Hotel conjures the feeling of the plains and Acacia trees of Kenya’s Big Game Reserves.

DAY 2: Nairobi City Tour

Discover the nooks and crannies with a well versed and experienced Tour guide who knows where the mysterious and intriguing places in Nairobi are.

First on the Tour is the David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage. This is a world-renowned rescue and rehabilitation initiative primarily focused on the well-being of Elephants and Rhinos. The morning feeding that takes place between 11am and 12pm is the main objective on this first phase of the tour. View and feed the Elephants and the Endangered Black rhino.

Take a short 30-minute trip to the Giraffe Centre to learn about the world’s tallest terrestrial animal. Have an up-close experience of these magnificent creatures and feed them by hand if you choose to.

After the Giraffe Centre, take a 15-minute drive to visit the Karen Blixen Museum that was made famous with the release of the Oscar winning film “OUT OF AFRICA” that was based on Karen’s autobiography. This film was acted by Meryl Streep and Robert Redford.

Lastly, head out to the Kazuri Beads that is an all-woman craft workshop well known for making Clay Beads, Ceramic Jewellery and Pottery. Kazuri in the Swahili dialect means “Small and Beautiful”. Being an all-woman workspace, it makes an amazing genesis story of how its people began as a tiny workshop trying out new ways of making handmade beads. This moving and touching piece of history, makes Kazuri Beads the perfect place to round out your day in Nairobi.

DAY 3: Lake Naivasha

Settle into a privately driven vehicle with your guide and transfer from Nairobi to Lake Naivasha. This drive, is purposely for scenery awe. As you make your way through rural Kenya and into the Great Rift Valley, there is an area with quaint little villages which mark the traditional African scenery. Prepare yourself for your first glimpse of Mount Longonot as you make your route through the Hell’s Gate National Park before arriving to Lake Naivasha.

Surrounded by the Oserengoni Wildlife Sanctuary, you arrive at Naivasha’s best The Sawela Lodges is a short 90-minute drive from Kenya’s capital city Nairobi. With spectacular views of Mt. Longonot and the pearly fresh waters of Lake Naivasha, this quiet lodge in Naivasha Kenya will have you relaxed and rested in no time. Offering luxury accommodation for both local and international guests, the Sawela lodge has become a home away for many discerning guests. From inception, the founders wanted to create a special place removed from the routine and busy happenings of our daily lives.

After settling in and having a luscious afternoon meal, dive into an afternoon Game Drive in complete privacy and get to see a selection of Wildlife that would have been difficult to see anywhere else. After the extraordinary Game Drive, revel in a glass of champagne and wine as you watch the sunset along the Lakeshore of Oloidien while the Pelicans and Flamingos fly passed you.

DAY 4: Masai Mara

Wake to an astonishingly fascinating Bush Breakfast alongside the Lake. Relish in the delicious meal and Vista as the Bloated Hippos splash in a distance. After the remarkable breakfast, transfer to the Naivasha Airstrip for your flight to Olkiombo Airstrip in the Masai Mara National Reserve.
